In China, Spring Festival is one of the most important festivals. It isalso getting more and more popular in some foreign countries. When SpringFestival comes, it means that a new year comes, and people grow a year older.During the festival, it is very crowded throughout the country.

On the eve of Spring Festival, parents get food, clothes and SpringFestivals goods prepared. The people who work outside come back, and the wholefamily gets together to have meals and say goodbye to the last year, and welcomethe New Year. After the meal, they wait until midnight comes. They set offfireworks then.

On the first morning of the Spring Festival, everyone wears their newclothes and then go to others homes to celebrate the New Year. Each family setsoff fireworks when their guests come, and they take out sweets and peanuts toshare. On the following days, they go around to their relatives and friends. TheSpring Festival has several meanings. It means people working outside can comeback to relax themselves, a new year begins. When spring comes, farmers begin toplant crops and people make a plan for the New Year.

All the people throughout the world pay much attention to it. Our countryof course holds some national celebrations to celebrate it. This mosttraditional festival in China will go on being celebrated in the future.

On the first early moring of one year， many senior citizen get up early andthey stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door. Some houseswindows are sticked on red paper cutlings.

The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days， wealways visit our relatives from door to door. At that time， children are thehappiest because they can get many red packets form their parents，grandparents，uncles， aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese New Year is anotherfestival.

When it comes to the Lantern Festival, it means the end of the SpringFestival.
